It wasn’t perfect, but it was a revelation—suddenly, I had a writing assistant that could help me brainstorm taglines, product descriptions, and even blog intros. For a graphic designer like me, it was the first taste of how AI could amplify creativity rather than replace it.

As the years rolled on, Adobe stepped up with AI-powered features in Photoshop—content-aware fill, neural filters, and later, Adobe Firefly. These tools felt like magic: generating textures, backgrounds, and even entire compositions with just a few clicks. Firefly especially changed the game, letting me experiment with styles and concepts faster than ever before.

Then came Canva’s AI integrations, which made collaborative design smoother and smarter. From auto-generating layouts to suggesting color palettes and copy, While Canva has not become my go-to for quick-turnaround projects and client mockups. It was like having a junior designer on standby—always ready, never tired.

Now, in 2025, I’ve added Perplexity to my toolkit. It’s my research assistant, my idea generator, my strategic sounding board. Whether I’m exploring design trends, gathering inspiration, or crafting SEO-friendly content for clients, Perplexity helps me think deeper and move faster.
